Arghz..my "holidays" past like that!
Actually I had a good break..just that I'm never contented hahx. Went to school on Monday for national day celebration..half the school population was in red. The girls in my class wanted to wear red too..but we didn't know what to wear for the bottom. So Sunday night was spent sms'ing each other "so how, so how"..and in the end Monic said "aiyah school uniform lah"! So ended up only Michelle, Yong Feng, Jason, Brian and Asik wore red (:
Had guitar exco meeting after that. Erm..basically it was just a scolding session, cos the two teachers-in-charge were terribly unpleased with us. We supposedly did things without the knowing and the information we gave them were inaccurate. Well..what can I say. We were partly at fault. But still..I wish for more understanding on the teachers' part. After all..the 5 of us are humans. We have emotions too! And it's inevitable to make mistakes.
Headed down to Parkway with Kar Fu, Ying Ying and Liang Hong after that. Yong Guan didn't join us..he probably needed to accompany his taiwan friend. And guess what..we saw him at the hawker centre lah! Such a coincidence..he was merely sitting a few tables away..hahaz. The chicken noodles are not bad..and they only cost $2.50. Much cheaper than the foodcourt =)
Went home to catch some sleep after that. Then got out of house to meet liting..we arranged to attend the fireworks festival together (: But there was some confusion in the afternoon..munwei didnt want to go for some reason..then suddenly kelvin and darren were going. I got a little irritated that afternoon..cos there I was trying to sleep but my handphone kept ringing!! Hahaz..ended up 6 of us went to marina south. Met Caifa and Yiyang cos they were having steamboat with their friends.
Anyway, the confusing things aside. F.I.R was there!!!!! =) It's the first time I saw them..live. Yeah not forgetting K One, 183 Club, Machi, Tanya, Cai Chun Jia etc. If only 5566 came..I want to see Tony Sun haha. Reminds me of the secondary sch days where jasmine, celest and I practically went crazy over them (: Once the chinese oral topic was "ni dui ge mi/ying mi zhui ou xiang you shen me kan fa"..we would always give the politically correct answer like "it's a waste of time", "teenagers should spend more time on their studies"..but deep down everybody had an ou xiang in their hearts =)
Then 12am came..the fireworks display! It was a whole 15min...lovely. Moreover they arranged for some orchestra to play a 15min medley during the fireworks display..joining all the national day songs together. The music was great arh. And so were the fireworks =) But the saddest thing is fireworks have such a short lifespan. Like a few seconds? If only I can see fireworks every night and not only on special occasions......
Of course I know that's illogical. My mother was grumbling yesterday when she saw the fireworks display. "Haiyoh, zhe me duo yan hua, zheng fu you yao na wo men de qian kai dao!" Then my father was like "aiyah 2 million only, peanuts to the country lah". A few minutes later the commentator went "the fireworks are sponsered (blah blah)..so the costs and stuff don't exceed budget". I just laughed it off and found contentment in my pizza.
Alright, back to the carnival at Marina. Gosh, I got home at 2am k. It was so crowded there..it really looked as if there was a war in Singapore and everybody were just running for their lives. At least there wasn't a stampede. Everyone just moved slowly but orderly. I'm lucky my elder brother was out watching movie with his friends, so I got a lift home at city hall. Otherwise I'd have to camp outside!
Watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today with Wara, Asik and Ho Wan. The show was ok..but I thought Willy Wonka really looked like a transvestite..haha! Oops. I'm glad I don't have a choc craving after the show..otherwise I'll be in deep trouble (:
I feel like eating KFC now. And sushi.
i left my footprints (:
